Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 it is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
