Al-Mu' minoon 3 of 6
And said the chiefs of those who disbelieved among his people and belied the meeting of the Hereafter and whom We had luxuriated in the life of the world: this is no other than a human being like unto you; he eateth of that whereof ye eat, and he drinketh of that which ye drink. 33 "If you were to obey a human being like yourselves, then verily! You indeed would be losers. 34 What! does he threaten you that when you are dead and become dust and bones that you shall then be brought forth? 35 ۞ Far, far is that which you are threatened with. 36 There is no life beyond our life in this world: we die and we live [but once,] and we shall never be raised from the dead! 37 He is nothing but a man who has forged against Allah a lie, we will never believe him' 38 He said: O my Lord! help me against their calling me a liar. 39 God said, "Before long they will be filled with regret." 40 And the Cry seized them justly, and We made them as scum; so away with the people of the evildoers! 41 AND AFTER them We gave rise to new generations: 42 Every nation has an appointed life span. 43 And We sent forth Our apostles, one after another: [and] every time their apostle came to a community, they gave him the lie: and so We caused them to follow one another [into the grave,] and let them become [mere] tales: and so - away with the folk who would not believe! 44 Then We sent Musa and his brother Haroun, with Our communications and a clear authority, 45 To Firon and his chiefs, but they behaved haughtily and they were an insolent people. 46 They said, "Should we believe two men like ourselves while their people are for us in servitude?" 47 Then they accused them of lies, and joined the company of those who were destroyed. 48 And We gave Moses the Book that people might be guided by it. 49 And We made the son of Marium and his mother a sign, and We gave them a shelter on a lofty ground having meadows and springs. 50

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
