We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
