Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 like boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 Among Gardens and Springs; 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
