The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 and by the promised Day, 2 And [by] the witness and what is witnessed, 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 The people of the fuelled blazing fire. 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims! 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and earth. And Allah is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Stern indeed is your Lord's punishment. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 in sublime almightiness enthroned, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
