۞ Have you not looked at those who repaid God's favours with ingratitude; who pulled their people down to ruin, 28 Into Hell? They will burn therein,- an evil place to stay in! 29 For, they claimed that there are powers that could rival God, and so they strayed from His path. Say: "Enjoy yourselves [in this world,] but, verily, the fire will be your journey's end!" 30 Tell My believing servants to be steadfast in prayer and to spend for the cause of their Lord, both in private and in public, out of what We have given them. Let them do this before the coming of the day when there will be no merchandising or friendship. 31 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth, and sent down water from the sky, therefore producing some fruits for you to eat; and subjected the ships for you, that they may sail upon the sea by His command; and subjected the rivers for you. 32 And He has made subservient to you the sun and the moon pursuing their courses, and He has made subservient to you the night and the day. 33 He has given you all that you asked of Him; and if you try to reckon up God's favours, you will not be able to count them. Truly man is very unjust, very ungrateful. 34
