1/2 Hizb 35

[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood, and I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). 52 The people divided themselves into many sects, each with their own book and each happy with whatever they had. 53 So leave them immersed in their heedlessness till an appointed time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 Is [because] We hasten for them good things? Rather, they do not perceive. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 and do not ascribe partners to Him; 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 those vie in good works, outracing to them. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a record which clearly shows the truth and they will not be wronged. 62 In fact, the hearts of the unbelievers are in the dark because of their ignorance of real virtue; they act against it. 63 until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan. 64 “Do not implore this day; you will not be helped by Us.” 65 My communications were indeed recited to you, but you used to turn back on your heels, 66 In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of Makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of Makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night. 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or do they say, 'He is bedevilled'? Nay, he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse from the truth. 70 If the Truth had been in accord with their desires, truly the heavens and the earth, and all beings therein would have been in confusion and corruption! Nay, We have sent them their admonition, but they turn away from their admonition. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 Assuredly thou art calling them to a straight path; 73 but those who do not believe in the Hereafter are ever prone to deviate from the Right Way. 74 ۞ And if We have mercy upon them and remove the calamity which has befallen them, they would still stubbornly persist, wandering in their rebellion. 75 Already We have seized them with the punishment, but they neither humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they beseech Him, 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
