The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Indeed, there came upon the human a period of time when he was an unremembered thing. 1 Verily, We have created man from Nutfah drops of mixed semen (discharge of man and woman), in order to try him, so We made him hearer, seer. 2 We showed him the right path whether he would be grateful or ungrateful. 3 We have prepared chains, shackles, and flaming fire (for the disbelievers). 4 Surely the righteous shall drink of a cup the admixture of which is camphor 5 The Kafoor is a spring, from which the chosen bondmen of Allah will drink, causing it to flow wherever they wish inside their palaces. 6 These will be the ones who fulfil their vows and dread the Day whose woe shall be spread far and wide; 7 they give food, for the love of Him, to the needy, the orphan, the captive: 8 (Saying): "We feed you seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. 9 Lo! we fear from our Lord a day of frowning and of fate. 10 So Allah will save them from the evil of that Day and has secured for them radiance and joyfulness, 11 And shall recompense them for that which they patiently bare with a Garden and silken garment. 12 There they will recline on elevated couches and will be subjected neither to the burning heat of the sun nor to bitter cold. 13 since its [blissful] shades will come down low over them, and low will hang down its clusters of fruit, most easy to reach. 14 And they will be waited upon with vessels of silver and goblets that will [seem to] be crystal 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes. 16 And they shall be made to drink therein a cup the admixture of which shall be ginger, 17 From a fountain therein, named Salsabil. 18 ۞ And there shall go round unto them youths ever-young. When thou seest them thou wouldst deem them pearls unstrung. 19 And when you look towards it, you will see serenity and a great kingdom. 20 Upon those [blest] will be garments of green silk and brocade; and they will be adorned with bracelets of silver. And their Sustainer will them to drink of a drink most pure. 21 It will be said to them, “This is your reward – indeed your efforts have been appreciated.” 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
