The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every slanderer, defamer, 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 it closes in on them from every side 8 in endless columns! 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
