And assuredly We have created man and We know whatsoever his soul whispereth unto him, and We are nigher unto him than his jugular vein. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 Who setteth up another god along with Allah. Do ye twain hurl him to the dreadful doom. 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29
