It is He Who has endowed you with the faculties of hearing and sight and has given you hearts (to think). Scarcely do you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who hath sown you broadcast in the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 (He is) the Knower of the Unseen and the Seen, High Exalted be He above that they associate. 92
