Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a straight path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
