Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
