Al-Layl
The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the night as it envelops; 1 and by the day when it breaks in its glory, 2 and by Him Who created the male and the female: 3 you strive in various ways. 4 Then as for him who gives away and guards (against evil), 5 and confirms the reward most fair, 6 We will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness). 7 And as for him who stinteth and is heedless, 8 and denied the Truth of goodness: 9 We shall facilitate the path to affliction 10 His riches will not save him when he perisheth. 11 BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance; 12 and to Us belong the Last and the First. 13 I therefore warn you of the fire that is ablaze. 14 Which only the most wretched must endure, 15 Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs. 16 But save him who fears 17 Who gives away his wealth, purifying himself 18 not as payment for favours received, 19 But only seeking the Countenance of his Lord the Most High. 20 and the reward (of their Lord) will certainly make them happy. 21
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
