The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Oh, the chargers that run panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
