The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears will mind, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
