Hizb 46

Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 And the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 And they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What ails you that you judge in such a wise? 154 Will ye not then receive admonition? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 And watch and they shall see (the torment)! 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
