The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun is covered, 1 And when the stars fall, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 When the wild beasts are herded together (in the human habitations); 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 for what crime she was slain, 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 and Paradise brought nigh: 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 I swear by the receding stars. 15 The stars which rise and set, 16 And by the night as it departs; 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 that the Quran is the word of the honorable angelic, mighty Messenger 19 having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills – the Lord of the Creation. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
