The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
