Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
