Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
