Originator of the heavens and the earth! How should He have a son when there is for Him no spouse? And He hath created everything and He is Knower of everything. 101 This is God, your Lord; there is no god but He, the creator of all things. So pay homage to Him, for He takes care of everything. 102 Vision comprehends Him not, and He comprehends (all) vision; and He is the Knower of subtleties, the Aware. 103 Proofs have come unto you from your Lord, so whoso seeth, it is for his own good, and whoso is blind is blind to his own hurt. And I am not a keeper over you. 104 And thus We variously propound the revelation, and this is in order that they may say: thou hast studied, and that We may expound it to a people who know. 105 Follow, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you from your Lord - there is no deity except Him - and turn away from those who associate others with Allah. 106 Had Allah willed, they would not have taken others besides Him in worship. And We have not made you a watcher over them nor are you set over them to dispose of their affairs. 107 And do not abuse those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest exceeding the limits they should abuse Allah out of ignorance. Thus have We made fair seeming to every people their deeds; then to their Lord shall be their return, so He will inform them of what they did. 108 And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths that if a sign came to them, they would surely believe in it. Say, "The signs are only with Allah." And what will make you perceive that even if a sign came, they would not believe. 109 so long as We keep their hearts and their eyes turned [away from the truth,] even as they did not believe in it in the first instance: and [so] We shall leave them in their overweening arrogance, blindly stumbling to and fro. 110
