And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 We brought them signs, but they turned away. 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 So the rumbling overtook them in the morning; 83 All that they had acquired was of no avail to them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say: "I am a distinct warner," 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 who have broken the Koran into fragments. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 About all what they used to do. 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 and believe other things to be equal to God. They will soon know the truth. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 So hallow thou the praise of thy Lord, and be thou of the prostrate. 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
