1/4 Hizb 38

The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 I do not ask any payment for my preaching. I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 180 ۞ "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others). 181 Weigh on an even balance. 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 and have fear of Him Who created you and the earlier generations." 184 They said: Thou art but one of the bewitched; 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 So cause to fall upon us fragments of the sky, if you should be of the truthful." 187 Answered [Shu'ayb]: "My Sustainer knows fully well what you are doing." 188 But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 191
