Say: "All praise be to God, and peace on those of His creatures whom He has chosen." Is God better or those they associate with Him -- 59 Nay - who is it that has created the heavens and the earth, and sends down for you [life-giving] water from the skies? For it is by this means that We cause gardens of shining beauty to grow - [whereas] it is not in your power to cause [even one single of] its trees to grow! Could there be any divine power besides God? Nay, they [who think so] are people who swerve [from the path of reason] 60 Is not he best Who hath made the earth a fixed abode and placed rivers in the midst thereof and placed firm mountains thereon, and hath set a barrier between the two seas? Is there any god along with Allah? Nay! but most of them know not. 61 Is not He (better than your gods) Who responds to the distressed one, when he calls Him, and Who removes the evil, and makes you inheritors of the earth, generations after generations. Is there any ilah (god) with Allah? Little is that you remember! 62 Is not he best Who guideth you in the darknesses of the land and the sea, and Who sendeth the winds as heralds before His mercy. Is there any god along with Allah? Exalted be Allah from all that they associate! 63 Who originates creation, then brings it back again, who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth, is there a god with Allah? Say: 'Bring us your proof if you are among the truthful' 64 Say thou: none in the heavens and the earth knoweth the unseen save Allah; nor can they perceive when they will be raised. 65 Nay, their knowledge respecting the hereafter is slight and hasty; nay, they are in doubt about it; nay, they are quite blind to it 66
