Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 A vision and a reminder for every penitent slave. 8 We also sent down blessed water from the heaven, wherewith We caused gardens and harvest-grain to grow, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
