Al-Rahman 3 of 3
There are two gardens for one who fears standing before his Lord. 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 [two gardens] of many wondrous hues. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 Therein are maidens who restrain their glances, whom neither human nor jinn have touched before. 56 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 57 Lovely as rubies and pearls. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In them (each) will be two Springs pouring forth water in continuous abundance: 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In which will be the fruit, date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
