BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see! 39 This Qur’an is the speech of Allah with a gracious Noble Messenger. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 Nor is it the speech of a sooth-sayer. Little are ye admonished. 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
