The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 when ten-month pregnant camels are left untended, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 And when the female (infant) buried alive (as the pagan Arabs used to do) shall be questioned. 8 Upon what sin was she killed for. 9 And when the pages are made public 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And when Paradise shall be brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, 15 Moving swiftly and hiding themselves, 16 and the night that falls, 17 And by oath of the morning when it takes birth. 18 truly this is the word of a noble Messenger 19 with strength endowed, secure with Him who in almightiness is enthroned 20 Obeyed (by the angels), trustworthy there (in the heavens). 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 And indeed he saw him on the clear horizon. (Prophet Mohammed saw Angel Jibreel in his true shape – peace and blessings be upon them). 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 Then where are you going? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 To whomsoever among you who wills to walk straight, 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
