Say: O my Lord! if Thou shouldst make me see what they are threatened with: 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We have the Power to strike them with torment before your very eyes. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say thou: my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee against the whisperings of the satans. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 and those whose scales are light, those will be the ones who will have courted loss. They will abide in Hell. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 "I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved Bliss..." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
