The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
