۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None shall touch it save the purified ones. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,- 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And the roasting in Hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
