In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
