Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 After this, He spread out the earth, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
