The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By heaven of the constellations, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And by the Day witnessing and the Day witnessed, 3 destroyed were the people of the trench, 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 Lo! [With glee do] they contemplate that [fire,] 6 And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Verily, those who believe and do righteous good deeds, for them will be Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise). That is the great success. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
