Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) has neither forsaken you nor hated you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found you in need, so made you prosperous? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
