Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 "And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and they will therein grin, with their lips displaced. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 "Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 Now today I have recompensed them for their patient endurance; they are the triumphant.' 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, "You only stayed for a little while, if only you knew. 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
