۞ Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! 21 On the day when they behold the angels, on that day there will be no good tidings for the guilty; and they will cry: A forbidding ban! 22 And We shall set upon that which they worked, and shall make it as dust wind-scattered. 23 The dwellers of Paradise on that day will have the best residence and resting place. 24 On that day the sky will be crystal blue, clear of clouds. The angels will descend in groups 25 and the Absolute kingdom will belong to the Beneficent God. 26 The unjust man will bite at his hand and say, "Would that I had stood by the Messenger! 27 “Woe to me – alas, if only I had not taken that one for a friend.” 28 Indeed, he led me astray from the remembrance [of God] after it had come unto me!" For [thus it is:] Satan is ever a betrayer of man. 29 And the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Quran (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and orders). 30 O Muhammad, in this very way We have made the criminals the enemies of every Prophet, but your Lord suffices for you as your Guide and Helper. 31 And those who disbelieve say, "Why was the Qur'an not revealed to him all at once?" Thus [it is] that We may strengthen thereby your heart. And We have spaced it distinctly. 32 Every time they raise an objection, We will bring you the truth and the best of explanations. 33 They who shall be gathered prone on their faces unto Hell - those shall be worst in respect of place and the most astray in respect of path. 34
