The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! My people have branded me a liar. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
