Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 nor will they be permitted to offer any excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
