In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And mountains will be like flying wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
