Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may do right in that which I have left behind! But nay! It is but a word that he speaketh; and behind them is a barrier until the day when they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: "A day or less than a day. Ask the enumerators of numbers." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
