We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night.
