Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
