The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the night when it covers 1 and the day as it rises bright! 2 And by Him Who created male and female; 3 surely your strivings are divergent. 4 As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah) 5 And (in all sincerity) testifies to the best,- 6 We shall ease the way of fortune for him. 7 but for him that is a miser, and sufficed, 8 And denied the best matter, 9 for him shall We make easy the path towards hardship: 10 and his wealth shall be of no avail to him when he perishes. 11 BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance; 12 And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]. 13 I have warned you then about a raging Fire: 14 whereat none but the most wretched shall be roasted, 15 Who denies and turns away. 16 But save him who fears 17 And gives of his wealth that he may grow in virtue, 18 and confers no favour on any man for recompense, 19 except the pleasure of their Lord, the Most High 20 And he is going to be satisfied. 21
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
