The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A burning fire. 11
