He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned (his) back, 1 Because there came unto him a blind man. 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and that the admonition might profit him? 4 As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, 5 to him didst thou give thy whole attention, 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 And as to him who comes to you striving hard, 8 And with fear (in his heart), 9 From him you are distracted. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 lofty and pure, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Noble and dutiful. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 Then maketh the way easy for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 Indeed, he has not fulfilled that which He has ordered him. 23 Let man look at his food: 24 How We poured down water in torrents, 25 and let the earth to break open 26 Thereby produced grain in it. 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 and olive trees and date-palms, 29 And dense gardens, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 for you and for your animals to enjoy. 32 And when the Blast shall sound, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 And his spouse and his son-- 36 Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. 37 Faces on that Day shall be beaming, 38 laughing and joyous 39 And some faces will on that Day with dust be covered, 40 o'erspread with darkness -- 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
Read the entire Holy Quran in full color. Pages diversely generate their colors and shapes so that the same scheme never repeats twice. The Quran is the conclusive Final Testament of the One and Only God for all people of all colors and shapes.
