The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
