The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
