۞ O men! It is you who stand in need of God -- God is self-sufficient, and praiseworthy -- 15 If He wills, He can take you away and bring other creatures. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 No soul laden bears the load of another; and if one heavy-burdened calls for its load to be carried, not a thing of it will be carried, though he be a near kinsman. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in the Unseen and perform the prayer; and whosoever purifies himself, purifies himself only for his own soul's good. To God is the homecoming. 18 Not equal are the blind and the seeing man, 19 nor are the depths of darkness and the light; 20 And neither are the shadow and the hot sunshine! 21 Nor alike are the living and the dead. Verily Allah maketh whomsoever He listeth to hear and thou canst not make them hear who are in the graves. 22 You are simply a warner. 23 We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings and warning, for there is no nation, that has not had a warner pass away in it. 24 If they call you a liar, so had those before them called their apostles liars, who had come to them with clear proofs, scriptures and the splendent Book. 25 In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! 26
